General Maintenance

  • Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth & mild detergent.
  • Do not use abrasives or solvents.
  • Dirt or moisture in the jacks can affect readings.
  • Make sure that no object is clamped in the jaws.
  • Turn the meter off and remove all test leads.
  • Shake out any dirt that may be in the jacks.
  • Soak a new swab with alcohol. Work the swab around each jack.
